Most Embarrassing Moment: I was paddling for a wave out surfing and when I pushed off my board to stand
up my bathing suit string was under my hand. As I stood up, my top came undone and I had to bail off the wave before I flashed
the entire beach.
Coolest Thing You’ve Ever Done: The whole process of making our album was amazing.
Being part of the writing and production side was an absolute dream come true and really made the album a much more personal
experience for me.
As for a cool outrageous event, I would have to say it was my 21st birthday when I went skydiving.
I had always wanted to try it and I'm glad I had the experience once but it was pretty frightening so doubt I'm ever going
to do it again!
What is your idea of a perfect day? Suring head high glassy waves at my home break completely
alone out on a sunny October day, then in the evening watching a full harvest moon rising orange over the ocean.
Most
Humbling Moment: Being an older sister can be really humbling as I can see some of my own characteristics in my younger
siblings. I watch them go through some of the same struggles, heartbreaks and confusion. Knowing they look up to me as an
example is a very big responsibility, but it's also very rewarding to think that I have a small hand in helping them to grow
into mature young women.
What do you do to stay fit? I try to do something each day, obviously surfing whenever
I get the chance. I also like home video workouts - alternating between Denise Austin's Power Yoga and Pilates and Billy Blank's
Tae Bo.
What makes you smile? Every time I share a new experience or a special moment in music with my sisters,
it gives me the most joyful and proud feeling inside. It is something that I think each of us feels in the exact moment it
happens like hearing our song on the radio for the first time.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what
would it be? I tend to take on too much sometimes, I would like to delegate things and responsibilities to others more
often.
What advice would you give people your age about having a singing career? Dream big and don't get
sidetracked by the little things. It takes a lot of hard work and determination so you have to love what you do so much that
you're willing to hurt for it. There are bumps in every road, especially the one least traveled, but if you stay focused on
that narrow path the reward is great.
Whom do you most admire? My mom has always been the driving force
behind us. There are so many reasons to admire her – what she's done for us, how she's raised us, all she's given up
for us, and how she loves each one of us individually. She teaches us with her words, she really walks the walk as well. I
don't know how she does it and looks so fabulous doing it.
Please add a personalized message from you to the fans: To
our fans, I want you to know that you are the reason we do this. I love to sing cause it makes me happy and if our music
can bring the same kind of joy to some of you out there that’s what makes it all worth while. God bless you all and
Save the Music!
