There
was this guy I had a crush on for 10 years - since 1st grade. We finally started dating each other and when we had our first
kiss, Gabriella, our littlest sister walked in and screamed at the top of her lungs, "Danielle, quick! You've got to see this!"
That kiss I had been waiting for for years ended pretty quickly.
Coolest Thing You've Ever Done:
Singing the National Anthem at the NY Jets game. The sound from the crowds was unreal. It was also really cool because
we got to watch the kick off right from the field.
What is your idea of a perfect day?
There's
this place down in the national park near our house that we call "Jill Hill." I love taking a picnic down there on a sunny
day and going clamming. We always have so much fun there.
Most Humbling Moment:
We had the honor
of singing the National Anthem on September 11. We could barely get through it without crying.
What do you
do to stay fit?
Recently, I got a year's membership to a gym and I also do pilates and yoga.
What
makes you smile?
Being an older sister and getting to watch my younger siblings grow up. I also love corny jokes.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My patience, I wish I had more!
I was born 2 weeks early and my mom says that I've always been 2 weeks ahead of myself.
What advice would
you give people your age about having a singing career?
This is a very hard business. It is not only about the
music and if you can, learn as much about the business part of the "music business" as you can. It is really important.
Whom
do you most admire?
My mom. I swear she is superwoman. There is nothing she can't do – she can open any
jar.
